"She was fiercely independent. Brooke Davis. Brilliant, and beautiful, and brave. In 2 years she had grown more than anyone I had ever known. Brooke Davis is going to change the world someday. And I'm not sure she even knows it."
We all remember the character who stole our hearts and conquered the world from Tree Hill, and of course it wouldn't be anyone other than Brooke Davis.
She was a woman we undoubtedly admired for her charisma, but that soon transferred into our admiration for her success and her heart.
1. She proved that people can change, for the better.
Brooke pushed herself from being the popular easy girl in high school, to being a successful businesswomen all before her 30's. When she took in foster child Sam, she put her stability first, above all other frivolous relationships. Brooke guarded her heart and waited until someone was willing to break down her walls and work at a real relationship with her.
2. She is unapologetically vulnerable.
Although Brooke Davis keeps up a polished image, she can't always help but to let her emotions become visible to her closest friends and to her relationships.
3. She is a survivor.
After she was attacked, she shut down. But in this time, she became stronger and prepared herself to fight. She took all her anger and used it to protect herself and Sam when they needed it most. As soon as she faced her fear, she was able to recover in a way she couldn't before.
4. She tells it like it is.
Brooke Davis was never afraid to let her voice be heard. When someone is treating her unfairly, she won't hesitate to let them know. She will put people in their place if they don't respect her and give her the self worth she knows she is worthy of. She knows who she is, and she knows her worth. That's something for anyone to admire.
5. She believes in herself, even when her own mother doesn't.
While this would stop most people from trying, this negativity thrown at her by Victoria creates a fire inside of her which allows her to succeed and overcome the "you can'ts."
And hey, the world doesn't stand a chance.
