I know how hard it can be to try and come up with something creative and meaningful when inspiration just isn't coming to you.

Here are some of my favorite ways to feel reinspired again.

1. Watch a movie

Not just any movie. Watch one that makes you feel something.

Here are a few of my favorites: Bridge To Terabithia, The Art of Getting By, The Fundamentals of Caring

2. Go outside

Lay in the grass. Go to a park. Enjoy nature. Take those headphones out and listen to the sounds around you.

3. Read a really good book

Read a book that makes your heart leap out of your chest when you're about to meet the love interest of the story. Read a book about sacrifice and bravery and facing your fears, even when the consequences of doing so are completely unrealistic.

Or you could read a haunting ghost story or a battle with nature (Breathe or Peak).

Here are a few of my favorites: Perfect Chemistry, Anna and the French Kiss, Looking for Alaska, The One Memory of Flora Banks, Friends Like Us.

4. Journal

Even if you aren't feeling inspired yet, just try and put some words on a page. Go to a park, or even in your backyard, and describe what you see in detail. Listen to everything. Make a memory.

5. Sleep

I'm serious. If you're a frequent dreamer, go to sleep thinking of something you want to dream about and see what happens.

6. Clean

Sometimes you just need a good space to think. A place that looks pristine so you aren't distracted by everything around you.

7. Always bring a notebook with you

I guess these days people can just pull out their phone and write a note. There's something different about holding something tangible and putting words to paper. If you're feeling REALLY inspired though, I would consider typing. Much faster.

8. Watch a show where their struggles are more that yours

I promise you'll be inspired by the dedication people show and the hardships they face. You'll also be thankful you aren't the one dealing with them.

Here are a few of my favorites: One Tree Hill, Shameless, Switched at Birth

9. Make a collage

A dream board is a great start. Gather things that inspire you or motivating quotes and put them on a board in front of you, so there's always a place to look at when you're feeling doubtful.

10. Set goals

Have a notebook designated for goal-setting. Also make lists of things that you think will stop you from attaining these goals, so you know how to best reach them.
